So the build started at home with a proper inventory of the parts. I laid out the spar and ribs on the table for a picture because I did the exact same thing when I first started the 750 build.
One thing that is immediately obvious is that the kit is much more pre-drilled than the 750 kit was. Every hole is already drilled at final size, a lot of the 750 rudder build was laying out rivet lines and trimming metal, none of that here, it really is just prime, cleco and rivet. For example, the very first thing in the 750 rudder build was to mark a snip area on the doublers and cut. In this kit the doubler is already the right shape.
So with all pieces identified, everything went to the hangar for priming. I over-primed a bit, did a couple of surfaces I didn’t need to but no harm done. Left all these pieces to dry and went home.
